When you know what is relevant, you can form the basis of your preparation. And there is much to take into account, with many factors that could easily be forgotten. You may have a specific date, for example, in which you would like the cosmetic surgery to take place.
However, have you factored into this how long you will take to recover? During the recovery you will not be able to carry out normal tasks and you certainly won’t be able to go to work, so you need to make sure someone can help you during this period as well as booking appropriate time away from the office. On the subject of help from someone else, have you arranged for someone to drive you home once the procedure is complete?
You should also ensure that you have prepared yourself in terms of drugs and medication. You should find out from your surgeon if there are any over the counter medications you should avoid before and after the cosmetic surgery (this includes giving up smoking in the weeks leading up to the big day) and find out what you can take afterwards to ease the pain during recovery.
When you know what you can take afterwards, you will be able to purchase everything that is required beforehand so that you are prepared once the surgery is completed. As well as drugs, you should also make sure you have a place to rest prepared and that you have comfortable clothing.
